Hello this is my first post here, I am very excited about what RED is doing, I have been watching the development progress since the beginning. We hope to buy a RED one in the near future.
I wanted to know if anyone here who owns a RED, or is actively working with the RED One would be interested in shooting and or being apart of the crew for a music video for an R&B Artist "Lead Singer of New Edition" Ralph Tresvant for his new single "It Must Be You" this would be a spec job, no money" but there are definitely some benefits, use of the footage for your demo reel and it's a great opportunity to put your RED ONE to work for a real world project, and the Music Video is guaranteed to be aired on VH1, VH1 Soul, VH1.com, BET and possibly MTV and MTV2, so it would be a great way to promote yourself and the RED One as well. I already have some other professionals " one that is a RED users and red purchaser, he just hasn't received his camera yet" who have committed there time and expertise for the shoot, that will be on a indoor set here in the san francisco bay area. the shoot is tentatively set for early to mid june as the single gets released July 1st.
I hope to hear from some of you guys and I also want to state that we are doing this release independently, so you can hopefully understand the lack of a real budget. oh you can hear the new single at http://www.ralphtresvant.com it is the first song that starts playing and you can read a recent press release in the news section

yes we do have verbal commitments from them" BET & VH1" asking us for the video to start playing "Both VH1 & BET have received an advance preview of the song and are excited and want to support Ralph as 2008 is his 25th anniversary ",we have a working relationship with both VH1 and BET as they both played our previous independent music video produced in 2006, and Ralph and myself are long time personal friends with both networks music video and talent relations dept. heads, who are in charge of authorizing video play.
