Here is a new music video I just finished up with a local band here in Alaska.

Had a blast even with some of the challenges that come from working with a 4yr old :)

Shot in 5k on RED Epic and old arriflex Zeiss glass.
Entirely handheld with a very compact DSMC setup.
Finished in Premier Pro and Davinci Resolve on a rMBP and Maxx digital Raid via OWC thunderbolt chasis.

Check it out and let me know what you think, would welcome all feedback!

Good video overall, the only thing I wouldn't have done is mix that much black & white footage with color...I know its artsy, but I think I would either go mostly b & w or stay color!! But great track, good editing and great cinematography! Good coverage and angles are used!

Thanks guys!

@Dan - Fair point about black and white vs color, however in this case I did it with the intention of differentiating the boys imagination from reality. And then I gave it a twist in the end and reversed it...

Looks good! Those old Zeiss lenses look GREAT! Add a lot of character. Well done. And the 4 year old is charming - very Wes Anderson. As a little indian in his canoe, kinda reminded me of Moonrise Kingdom.

Thanks, fun association :) i'm a big fan of Wes Anderson.
