Music Video For Warner Bros. Records Artist, Cavo "Crash"

Very good, man! Interesting color correction tones that were selected. And very good taste for the cuts, too.

We recently completed one shot here in Orlando, but the band in the process of being signed for a major label, so I cannot present it yet.

Again, congratulations!!!

Thanks Luis! Appreciate it. Colored it myself with the dp. LOTSA hours, but well worth it. Let me know when you post yours. Would love to check it out.

Michael, I gotta find out about the glass. I don't pay attention to that as much as I should. I basically tell my DP what I need and he gets it done, but I'll get that info. I know they were older lenses that we used...

Looks Great! The Shooting location with the band is awesome. May I as what was your workflow and final output for vimeo was?

What program did you color correct in

Thanks JP! We shot in 2k and 3k and I edited in Final Cut on a 1080 24p PRORES HQ timeline with the RED proxies. Exported the clips to PRORES HQ. Colored with Magic Bullet (not a preset... mannnnnny hours of coloring). The output for Vimeo was a 720p quicktime at a bitrate of 5000. I exported directly from Final Cut using Quicktime Conversion.

Word.

Wow! Great Job!

If you use After Effects and FCP there's a plug-in call Boris that allows you to export your FCP EDL for Conform in AE using the REDRAW Files it all Pre-Build20.

I like the lighting, composition, and editing but saw really poorly handled highlights but since your using the Proxies that makes alot more sense as half the luminance and color information has been thrown out.

Congrats and Goodluck on the next one!

So as my day job I work at "Journey's" (skate shoe store) and on the latest DVD we have to play on our TV this music video is on it.

So if you go into any Journey's in the US you actually might see your video while we're ringing up your shoes. :D Just thought I'd through that your way.

Well I'm a little late on my response here, but thanks for the top Dane... I stopped doing things that way so as to prevent that from happening again. You can check out my latest one here...
