I just finished shooting a music video for the Colorado Band Lamia of the Pool. It was a 6 Day shoot and I shot on multiple cameras including the Canon 5D and 7D cameras, REDOne, RED MX, and RED Scarlet, and one shot with a Go Pro. We shot 2k on the Scarlet with 60 fps for our slow motion which I wish could have been 4k. But I did shoot 4K with the RedOne and MX. I was hoping to shoot with the Epic at 300 fps but we were unable to acquire one. I still liked working with the Scarlet and love how light it is and how fast the boot up time is a long with the formatting. Here is a still from my film. I hope you like it.

Why not shoot 60fps 3k with red one instead?

We started on the Scarlet then moved in with the RED one. It was my first time using the Scarlet and I was told by my DP that the scarlet could only shoot 60 fps at 2k. 3K would have been great. Ultimately if I would have had the proper budget I would have wanted to shoot everything thing in 5K but there lots of things we would want with the proper budget.

Perhaps less money? if cast and crew are volunteer and it was my pet project, I'd shoot for 6 days!
