Yep I really tested out Build 20 Alpha... Sound was a bit better (only got 8 takes with Sync) but still had Green Screen of death during Play back all the time... Wich really Hurt us since it made Watching Performance after shooting impossible...

Alot of the Time I was Camera Operating, Dollying and Racking focus... Co-directing this was a real Plus to have someone watching out for performance... You really Can't do everything and I usually am against trying to Shoot and Direct, but Christina and I developed this together and it truly
Came out better then if either of us had done it alone.

Cinematic Artistry’s world music video “Spanish Dancer” for Ricardo Griego has been released! Directorial debut… produced and directed by Vincent Pascoe and Christina Leigh. Shot on the RED, on location in Cave Creek, AZ. Mystery, magic and folklore… hope you like it!

Since it was a 2-man crew I'm assuming the budget was pretty small. It doesn't look like it, though! (With the exception of the fx when the dancer appears/disappears. But nothing's perfect.)

Really nice work!

I felt like the music wasn't connected to the images. the camera just floated around near his head when the guitar was doing some cool runs and chords- and I wanted to really see his hands 'doing' those parts.

A big challenge was shooting a music video that had no lyrics...

we tried for a balance between concept and performance that made our talent look good, and there was a couple specific spots where the talent really wanted us to show his technique, and a couple spots where he wanted to see more of his image better.

Dans editing style is more contemporary then mine I like to cut with the beat and phrases he cuts it more like a dance where sometimes your on the beat, other times in your own time that complements the Visuals.
