Music for indie movies!

[Michael Millichamp]

If you all haven't checked out this website started by Moby, you definitely should. http://www.mobygratis.com/gratis/list
You go to the site, create an account, and then you can choose between about 100 different copyright free songs that Moby and various other people made.
There are rules you have to follow and you have to give a description of what your movie is about and then when the song will be used in your movie. Then you request the song and it normally takes 24 hours to get a return. It's pretty rad.

Im not sure if this has been a post before, but if it has, it deserves to be posted again. I really enjoy this site.

I was considering using this for a project, but I was under the impression that it was like CC-by-SA, which essentially means you can't really go commercial as the 'Share-Alike' means someone could legally take it and resell it with minor changes (so broadcasters and distributors wouldn't touch it with a 10ft pole).

Is that what this is like or is it closer to being public domain?
