music concert 7 reds

Hello, we want to shoot a music concert with 7 red cameras... what do you think about this plan, is that possible?

Yes, that´s possible. We did a concert using 5 Reds, running continuously on Red drives.

pay attention to bass vibrations. the harddisks drop when near subs

we used 6 cams. if its a loud show beware of the drives. we used a rotation of 24 cards gong through two data stations. the results were amazing!

just make sure you wrap your hhd with some type of towel to absorb the vibrations, i know it sounds wonky, but it works. We did 11 cams for a live show. One of them were sitting right beside the amps and drums.

I was shooting next to a big mama speaker and got no dropped frames; it probably is still a good idea to have it wrapped like a baby
