First time I saw this was projected on film at the Bloor Cinema in Toronto. Mesmerizing.
Great to see Criterion finally entering the 4k UHD game as I'm an enthusiastic supporter of physical media.
Had this, Citizen Kane and The Red Shoes 4k pre-ordered from day 1.

Haha looove that movie - dude we agree on something finally

When I was at USC film school 18 years ago I was super excited because Lynch was going to give a talk.

We thought we was going to chat about his films or something but instead it was 90% about transcendental meditation.

He brought this dude with him on stage and they hooked up his brain to some kind of live graph of his brainwaves and Lynch showed how as he meditated, his brain patterns changed.

For a while it was Lynch, this dude, an assitant and a giant projector screen with just brain wave graphs.

It was about the most David Lynch thing ever and was super awesome.

At the end of it I shook Lynch's hand and thanked him for his films, and my friend got him to sign a Bob's Big Boy (the statue of the place where Lynch would hang out and dream up his scripts).

I miss when there was a radio station on LA where David Lynch would give his weather report... and it would be about the weather wherever HE was.

OK, signing up to buy that boy immediately. Thanks for the link!

Quite frankly I'd be disappointed if he talked about just movies! BTW I used to be a member of davidlynch.com and I'm pretty sure he did his early weather reports there. I miss those days.
