Sigma keeps on going making great lenses for both stills and moving pictures.

Just an example:

The charts show why Monstro is such a great high-resolution platform...

A 10μm pixel that equals .010 mm. Two pixels are needed for a line pair that then equals .020 mm. Take the inverse of this and you get 50 lp/mm.

One can debate quite a bit whether a Bayer sensor with a 5μm pixel pitch can resolve line pairs perfectly at 5μm, 10μm, or some number in between. But whatever choice we make, the Helium sensor, with a pitch of 3.65μm, needs to resolve a lp/mm number that's 1.37x higher than Monstro to capture the same horizontal pixel resolution. Put another way, if we are using the Helium to resolve 50lp/mm, then Monstro need only resolve 36.5 lp/mm to achieve the same total horizontal resolution. That moves us from the (bottom) purple line to midway between the cyan and green lines. Which is huge.

Yep it's difficult to make full use of the current Helium sensor as you can see in this article https://www.lensrentals.com/blog/2017/10/the-8k-conundrum-when-bad-lenses-mount-good-sensors/
