MOVI M10 PRICE DROPS

I came on this thread to say the same thing as Jonathan said. I'm in the same boat as him, and my take on it is exactly the same.

For early adopters, this was an excellent move for great product. Of the early adopters, many of us came to the same conclusion, and are now anxiously awaiting our M15's. There's no doubt in my mind that it's vastly superior to the next leading competitor. I do feel for people that bought an M10 too recently to qualify for the upgrade pricing on the M15, or those that can't scratch together the extra coin before the end of the month.

Movi has the smoothest rig. But if the competition is outselling them 5:1, 10:1... ?20:1? they're going to be hurting for R&D resources. The components for a stabilizer are a small fraction of the price. Most of it is assembly and R&D. Larger volumes means lower price. R&D spread across more units means lower price. They might be able to charge a premium today but I would be very worried if I was freefly that the competition isn't going to take their massive volume to eliminate and surpassthe R&D gap.
