Looking to purchase a Movi 10, or 15 but don't know if the 10 will work for my needs.

I have a shoot with the following gear:

Scarlet-W 1.6kg
PAG L90 Slim Model 930TV 0.5kg
NIKON AF-S 200-500MM 2.30 kg
DSMC2 V-LOCK I/O EXPANDER 0.454 kg
RED MINI-MAG 0.05 kg
DSMC NIKON MOUNT (BATTLE-TESTED) no weight given

total 4.904 Kg

but the Movi 10's payload is 5.44kg - this is 90% load. Will I have any issues ?

I'd recommend an M15 because it's more versatile, has the dual pan tubes, more room for longer cameras and balancing, etc.

If you can buy on Monday or Tuesday next week, Sept 26&27, Freefly is having another 48-hour Flash Sale, and the last Flash Sale in August had M15's at $5000.

I love my M15! I've seen a lot of M10 users trying to upgrade theirs to M15's, so you may as well go big if you can afford it. Of course, Freefly may come out with a new model soon... who knows?

I also recommend the M15 over the M10 due to the same reasons that Graham mentioned.

As for the flash sale, no official info has been mentioned about what Freefly product will be on sale, however Quadrocopter, one of Freefly's first dealers, teased the flash sale with an email showing photos of their Alta 8, which has led me to believe that the sale will be for their multirotors. Of course there's nothing saying they won't be having a sale on both.

I will say that the M10 is my preferred MoVi if the camera payload is small enough for it. It is smaller, lighter, and much closer to your chest. The M15 is more versatile and better built.

are you planning on flying a 200-500mm super tele zoom?? I was pretty stoked about flying 85mm primes on the Acecore Neo and Gremsy H16. But 200-500mm?? wtf
