  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I upgraded my hard drive on my desk top computer. I got both Vegas Pro 14 and 17 downloaded onto it. the footage from the Epic 6k downloads nicely and no issues but for some reason I can't get any MOV downloaded onto my timeline. Is there something in Vegas that I need to click on to accept MOV files or is it something that I need to download from the net? Thanks

Most likely you don't have the right codec on your computer. MediaInfo is a great program that identifies a lot of technical information of media files (frame rate, codec, and a lot more). Use that to identify your codec, then install that on your system.

Don’t know much about Vegas but it could be because the QuickTime clip is spanned.

The linked discussion thread above also has a link to a tool RU’s own Phil Holland made to deal with these clips.
