  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

.mov to FLV

I m dealing with this same situation right now. I do have Adobe and Apple products. This might be a dumb question but...How do I take a project into Adobe Media Encoder that has been edited in Final Cut? I want to play around with settings to get to a useable .flv for web.

Thank you,

Dan

Save it self-contained as ProRes and you are good to go (on a machine with ProRes installed).

Convert MOV file to FLV is for putting videos online played in Adobe Flash Player used by most video sharing websites like YouTube, Google Video, DailyMotion, etc. Flash video, known as FLV, is exactly a native format for Adobe Flash Player. So in order to embed MOV video into Adobe Flash, it is a must to convert MOV files to FLV files.I would like to share you a tutorial:

You need compression software "pro" such on2VP6, squeeze, or episode. I used a lot squeeze and on2VP6. They do great job.
