Hi guys,
finally pulled the trigger on a scarlet-w after years of dreaming of it. The camera is not in my hand still, I have to wait a week to get it here and while waiting I try to short out my rigging questions.
I would like to use a shotgun microphone on the camera (deity v3 pro), so I'm looking for a minimal footprint for a cold shoe mount on the side of the camera, so I would avoid a full-size top plate.
I was looking into this mount: https://smallrig.com/smallrig-cold-s...t-buc2736.html and I was wondering if this can be mounted to the screw holes above the mini-mag module on the left side of the camera. Can someone confirm if this could work? This is the simplest solution I can imagine.
The other option I found is this: https://smallrig.com/smallrig-cold-shoe-extension-2879.html mounting on the top of the camera and hanging the cold shoe to the side, is this doable?
Thanks for the help in advance!
