How does the LCD mount to the camera? does it mount to the camera body or does it mount to the top rods?

Thinking about ordering 2 12" rods and a side mount to attach to my base pro pack...

If you're using RED accessories, then you'll need one of the arms which will attach to any of the red accessories that has a 1/4" (at least I think it's 1/4") mounting hole such as the top mount, universal mount, etc. At least one other manufacturer (Element technica) makes some quick release mounts for the LCDs.

You'll get a RED arm together with the LCD.

16x9 inc makes a nifty adapter, which costs less than the ET one.
