I've seen the go pro used for hang gliding footage, but always with the hang glider in frame. I was wondering if there was any reliable way to mount it lower or at the tip of the hang glider so that the result was just a raw shot of the flyover.
Would I be advised to contact hang gliders and shoot in 2.7K then crop to 1080p to try to get a good deal or is there a lot of skill involved in operating beyond just setting up the go pro and hitting record? Ideally the camera would swoop down and one of the characters would be visible walking over a mountain, but just footage of the mountain as an establishing shot would work.
It's for a short. Thanks!
