Just got a MOTU V3HD in the mail today. Had decided I couldn't wait any longer for the trickle of shipments of the AJA IO HD. Problem is, it is too loud for my setup. Fan noise. I need this equipment to work on sound stages, and this is simply too loud for that.
Has anyone used an IO HD yet? If so, is the fan in IT loud? I hope not, as I really want one now.
Also, does it work nicely when recording ProRes 422 onto a MacBook Pro?
