How is smoothcam failing you? I am interested in the type of failure.

Will Warp Stabilizer stabilize the shots in question? What about AE's "standard" stabilizer?

In any case, check into Boris Contiuum Complete ... there may be other Boris solutions that suit you.

Lock and load is pretty good, I've used that several times.

Warp Stabilizer is pretty good. The Foundry's F_Stabilize is pretty good too. Ultimately nothing though handles high frequency stabilization problems well unless you shot at < 1/200th of a second.
