Motion Mount question

Can anyone give me examples of where and when and any opinions on the use of the motion mount. I know outdoors it can save the time with ND filters and can be used as soft or hard global shutter but examples and results ie value, are what I am interested in.

Another thing I like about the MM (maybe it's been mentioned) is using it when shooting directly into the sun or other bright objects it cuts down significantly on the reflections that traditional filters can cause. Great for that setting sun with either wide or long lenses.
