How do you achieve 120fps with the motion mount? The highest i get on 6k is 52 when the chart in the manual describing shutter angle and strobing clearly implies i can get 72 at 6k. Even at 2k the highest is 88. Thanks

The MM can only achieve the higher frame rates you are talking about when used as a ND filter only. The Square and soft shutter have limited high speed frame rated.
I don't know the technical reason but I would guess that the process that is used by the MM to create the shutter effect can't refresh faster than the rates you allready have tried.
It is an amazing tool to not have to change ND for different lenses that may not have a common size filter or to go bare lens with no filter.
I hope this helps.

Thanks for the response. I know that the nd only mode allows for the normal frame rates to be used, however RED advertises that the motion mount can hit 120 fps with the square shutter enabled in the manual. It just doesn't say what resolution that is at.
