  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

more renders...

Just so you know... Jarred does the "spinners" from Matt's CAD files. And Matt has been super-human the last two months.

Remember... this is just the "taste".

What do you mean by self-replicating?

The machine can create all the components necessary to build another version of itself:RepRap

I understand this is the same technology they are using to mass produce the RED ONE. Now it's only a matter of time before the machines take over.

(I, for one, welcome our Epic Monstro Overlords.)

Yes to most all current accessories working with EPIC except the top mount...
Jim

Jim why couldn't the top mounts work? They could clamp to the 19mm rails, like they do now, in front of, and behind the camera body, and the top handles could be bolted to them, also like now.
If the extended top handle of the Red one isn't long enough, an extension could be added. Why not?
Also, isn't it a little weird having the center of the lens at shoulder height (in the renders with the shoulder mount).

Thanks for the Renders.

I was thinking the same as my other Oz companion further north...

... that works as a Federation Starship from pretty well any angle. Perhaps the glass is the big blasters at the rear.

Now that, is some serious badass-ness.

I have seen a lock made in one session with one of these...I want one for myself!

My family owns a tool and die shop, so they have CNC lathes, CNC Mills, grinders, EDM wire, CMM, manuals, everything. I wish we had one of these bad boys!

Luckily, I will get to use this for free at my university for one of my upcoming research projects... >:}
