We will never forget our Customers.. especially the ones early on that took a leap of faith and purchased a RED ONE camera from a camera company that had no history of making cameras.

Jim has always said he wants people to feel like they get a whole new cameras with firmware updates.. 4.5k and REDCODE 42 hopefully will give many of you guys that new camera feeling.

Jarred, how about for the Red Rocket ? Processing 4k r3d code will be the same as 4.5k or 5k code correct? (I still have my ROCKETcineX still on my laptop used for the mobile Red Rocket set up).

Indeed it does, we LOVE 4.5K Rec42 and RR. and man that 5K M-X sensor looks incredible in the blacks, despite all the web compression. wow!

The funny thing is that when we shot that Esquire show, the color science was so half-baked ( well non-existent really as it was still using the science from the normal R1 ) . It is amazing how much of an improvement the sensor/color has improved over the last week let alone the last month.

I shot some stuff over the weekend.. and I kid you not, you really need to search for the noise.
