I was on a shoot earlier today where my 5" Touch LCD was turning off every handful of seconds. I thought it was the lemo, so kept unplugging and plugging it back in, which restored an image for a few seconds before repeating itself.
I then plugged an HDMI monitor in, and both that and the Touch began turning off together. I called a couple of knowledgeable people, but they had never heard of such before. One, however, said that it might have been the humidity in the air.
Finally, I noticed that if I bumped the side handle's record button slightly, or touched the screen of the 5" LCD while it was black, image was automatically restored.
I've gone through the menus tonight, but can't seem to find anything that states some sort of "auto-sleep" mode for the monitors. Has anyone else experienced this, and/or know of a solution?
My Scarlet is currently up-to-date on the latest firmware release, so I wanted to seek for an answer here before force-upgrading the firmware again.
