Hi all. I just bought a steadicam for my RED rig. The guy who I bought it from is also selling a Marshall V-LCD70XP-HDMIPT 7" monitor for $600AU. I saw this monitor had great reviews and was suggested by Vincent Laforet (but that was back in 2011) so obviously screens have changed since then.

Just wondering if this monitor is any good for that price and spec wise still relevant, or if I should spend a little bit more and get a Small HD AC7 or something like that?

Any help would be great.

Thanks.

I'm not sure about the specs on those two monitors, but what is really important for Steadicam is brightness and contrast controls(and anti-glare).
You're going to want a monitor that allows you to see the image in bright outdoor locations, etc.
Your main concern is framing the shot, not so much for exposure or focus.
