  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Modern Warfare 2

No ps3 and xbox connection. I have both systems but use ps3 mainly to play blueray. I'm loving it! Online for me.
 
Didn't they release a patch for modern warfare 1 right after release giving it the multi player thing? They'll do it, they just need to focus on their money making side (consoles) and have them dialed in before the Holidays. Frustrating though.
 
Spec ops mode looks promising. Going with PC version.
 
I gonna play it the whole weekend with my friends.
First LAN then multiplayer on the web.

The only game that will beat MW2 will be the new Battlefield coming out in March 2010. It's gonna be the sickest game ever.

I've recently moved to europe and now that MW2 is released I guess I have to get a PAL sexbox. My poor ntsc 360 is collecting dust at my folks place in Florida.

My question is if my other european neighbors could point me to get a good deal online for the system and the game? What sites do you guys like to use for online shopping electronics etc.

(Sorry I hope I'm not thread-hijacking)

ahk yeah there was a simillar name on there and this guy would kick my arse everytime spent countless hours trying to win never could, which was the main reason that lead me to eventually selling my ps3, right before the price drop ;) Warning... if you get fifa 10 and play online it will consume yourlife ...i still have withdrawals

Haha you sold your PS3 because someone kept beating you online in fifa? Thats hilarious.

Yeah I probably wont get it because of the time wasting thing. Its nuts how much time one can waste pressing buttons on an imaginary game! So useless and fun at the same time.
 
I'm still trying to decide if I want the PC version or XBOX360 version, or even if I will buy it at all... I've written off PS3 a while ago as I can't stand the Sony controllers or any alternative for them I have tried. Probably will not buy another PlayStation unless they come up with a new controller design. Can't explain it, they hurt my hands. I can play XBOX, GameCube, Wii, all day long. But 30 min on a Sony controller and my hands hurt. Almost didn't buy a PS3 for this reason, but I couldn't say no at the time when it was $399 and arguably one of the best Blu-Ray players available then, included 3 movies, etc..


Not that I have time to play games... If I do find time, I'm usually playing something on the Wii with the kids.
 
Jeff get the Xbox version! I'm telling you'll love it! I sound like a kid huh? This is one of the best war games as of today!
 
The game is pretty sick on the 360. I was having fun last night capping people. Took me a couple games to get my bearings. But so far I'm really liking it. Might play a game or two during lunch.
 
360 is the best platform. Although I miss PC based shooters, there simply isn't the user base that MS has on Live and PC support seems pretty poor with this title. PS3 does not have the same online experience and typically lacks the downloadable content to the extent that the XBOX enjoys.
 
Can Xbox play against PC and against PS3, for example?

Pony up, bullet sponges always welcome. XOBX - XBOX only. I haven't played online yet, always finish the single player campaign first before going online. Trying to wrap that up now, although I have some work to do...

Nope. You could play shadowrun against PC players though.
