  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

At work, I film on a Canon C200, and no matter how I manipulate the colors, I still never feel like it can rival the color science on my personal Epic MX. I just love the images that come out of that thing, especially with lots of light (even though I stuck a XEEN in front of it :P ).

 
I like it! Nice, crunchy colours. It reminds me of slide film.

Can you not just bring the Epic to work and use it instead of, or alongside, the other cameras? The MX out-performs many newer cameras, IMHO.

Totally agree on the MX's performance even when compared to newer cameras, and I've actually recommended (and used) the MX over the C200 on several occasions, but unfortunately they're not giving me a justification to bring it along too often. Hopefully more opportunities to change that soon!
