MMB-1 Hard Mattes

Anyone using an MMB-1 with hard mattes? The front of the MMB-1 has the ability to hold them, but I have not been able to find a set for it.

ARRI does not yet manufacture Hard mattes for the MMB-1, although I guess it could be simple enough to make your own if you wish.

An AC friend and I were going to make up a few sets for the LMB-4. He has a shop with a laser engraver that he's used to cut foam donuts for studio MBs. We figured that we could cut the ABS plastic with it as well to make masks.
I assume that he could also whip up a few for the MMB. We'd need one on hand to check the matte hole size with individual lenses.
Been so busy working it's been a back burner project...

Hey Stacey, I have a couple of plastic inserts the were promo items for trade shows. They function as mattes and say ARRI on them in big blue letters. Yours if you wantone, but I don't know the equivalent lens the hole covers. Likely clears around 25mm and higher.

The MMB-1 mattes from NAB clear up to a 25mm lens and will be a good template to work from if you are interested in making your own.
