Has anyone ever tried to mix Red One M with Dragon? We are currently mixing BMPC 4k with Dragon for our interviews, and honestly I hate it. The two cameras just have a very different image and color style. Also the storage is a serious PIA with the BMPC 4k Raw. Most situations would be controlled and lit imterviews. Thoughts?

Getting some input from someone with Red One Mysterium experience would be really helpful right now, this is a super time sensitive deal, HELP!

Thanks guys!

You can apply any current color science to Red ONE M footage and it will match up pretty nicely with the improved color sciences. They are very different sensors 1st gen vs third Gen, but I think should match up better than the camera's of different manufacturers. All of my old RED ONE M stuff looks amazing even today and I would have no trouble cutting it in with Dragon or MX sensor footage.

There will be a slight difference between sensors though, but not a so much that it is a real pain to grade.

Thanks David, I ended up going with an MX instead as I have a lot more knowledge of mixing the MX and Dragon.

Do you by chance know of a good source for picking up a Nikon or Birger (EF) mount?

Thanks!

Cant help you on the birter mount but contact doug at long valley equipment or red for the nikon mount.

Thanks David!
