mixing RED 24fps and EX3 25P??

A film shot on RED 24fps ---> Metafuse ---> Avid 1080p 24

And now we recived a B cam Sony EX3 25p matirial.

What is the best way to bring those files into the 24 project while keeping good record of the original files for the conform?

Depends if you want a 1:1 slow down of the 25p material or not... and if you are running MC v4 or not.

We are running MC 3.5 but might upgrade if it eases things.
What do you mean by 1:1 slow???
The AMA recognizes the files but obviously does not let trans-code them into a 24P project.
I do not mind slowing them down 4% but I need to be able to track their T.C back to the original files.

With v4 you can open the 25p files in a 1080p/25 then open the bin in your 24p project. In this scenario, the files will not get slowed down (frame for frame), but frame rate converted to always maintain original duration. File based formats via AMA cannot have EDL's generated on them via EDL Manager, but a list can be generated as XML via FilmScribe that should tell you all the sources.
