  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I recently got handed a project shot on with the Epic running 5k at 24 fps and I've got to combine it with a Scarlet that was sometimes running 4k at 23.976 fps and others running 4k at 29.97.. What do you guys think the best way to set up my sequence would be in Premiere CS6? Any problems you think I will have with this project?

well, it depends on what framerate you want to release... premiere will convert the others. unless you want/need to finish at 30 i'd probably go with a 24 timeline. should automagically work. let me know if it doesn't, or read the 'help' documentation, or do a google search.

From the tests I've done it seems to be alright, I just wanted to be sure before tackling the whole project. Currently I am making proxies via Redcine and planning on doing the offline edit in Premiere with synced audio then hopefully relinking just the r3d files that are used in the edit. It is a massive project so I am following this guide: http://www.creativeplanetnetwork.co...duction-how-manage-your-red-camera-data/18112
