We have two beautiful & rare sets of Mitchell Hi Speed / Super Speed Baltar lenses recently restored and converted to PL mount.
These lenses, also carried by F/B CECO in their catalogue back in the 70's in their original BNCR mount, are not only meant for low-light situations, but mostly used with VistaVision cameras, so they cover FULL FRAME 35 sensors and offer a sweet spot on Super 35mm sized sensors. The look of the 55mm at T1.1 is just amazing!

The lenses have been used for ALEXA LF film productions (for Netflix among others), and many other shoots. They also cover SONY VENICE, RED MONSTRO, etc.

The set is:

14mm T/2.8 (2 units, matching Canon FD)
18mm T/2.6
24mm T/1.9
28mm T/1.8 (2 units)
35mm T/1.3 (2 units)
55mm T/1.1 (2 units)
85mm T/1.7 (2 units)
135mm T/2.0 (2 units, matching Canon FD)
200mm T2.8 (2 units, matching Canon FD)

Marks are in Imperial. All the optics are very clean and IMHO the look is close to the Canon K35 High Speed and Panavision Ultra Speed/PVintage optics of the same era.

Available for rent in Spain / Europe ONLY at Harmonica Rental (www.harmonicarental.com)

PM me for details or more footage.

That was a great short. I've seen variations of the pay off before though man, those lenses did make that look REALLY good!

Here's another video shot on our Mitchell Hi Speed "Super Speed Baltar" lenses:

Bear in mind these also will cover Alexa LF Open Gate, Sony Venice and Red Monstro, making them one of the very few real vintage lenses for Full Frame sensors.

Get in touch to hire them for long term projects!
