Missing RED ARM component / thoughts?

Looks like the piece to adapt to 1/4x20 went missing. The hole isn't threaded 1/4x20 so it's not as easy as just installing a new stud. RED doesn't make the arm, as it's just re-branded.

I haven't heard back from NOGA, but does anyone know where to find a replacement part or other such solution?

There are partially threaded studs: http://www.amazon.com/Partially-Thr..._1?s=industrial&ie=UTF8&qid=1368819971&sr=1-1 . You may be able to find them at a local hardware store. On the smooth end of the stud, use: http://www.amazon.com/Loctite-37424...=UTF8&qid=1368820660&sr=8-35&keywords=loctite . Probably available at most auto parts stores. Outside of a solution direct from NOGA, that's the best I can think of off the top of my head.

You're right. THe inside is not tapped for 1/4-20. looks more like 1/4-28 fine thread. If you'd like, contact me and I'll arrange to get you a replacement if you'd like. jason@CinemaOxide.com

Those arms are so poorly made. I would save the trouble and get something a little more rugged.
