I have an Arri MB14 that I thought was 15mm studio offset. I am using Wooden Camera base plate which is also supposed to be 15mm studio offset. However the mattebox dosent line up with my lenses. The other accessories (follow focus, lens support) seem to line up perfectly but the mattebox is offset. Im am wondering if there are there different offset systems? Does anyone know if I could replace the MB14 arm and bracket to get it to be properly lined up?

Its unlikely that its the MB. I'm unfamiliar with the "XS" baseplate, but are you sure you have it screwed in the wright holes for proper 15mm offset alignment? The common mistake (with ET hybrid plate and others) is to screw it off centred - there for nullifying the 'offset-ness' of the baseplate.

Actually the reduser site is blocking me from typing the manufacture and replacing it with xs. Anyway it is a third party manufacture who was sued by red recently I believe. I have tried offsetting it every possible way and the mattebox never lines up.

The mattebox is fine. It's actually the baseplate that you need to check. Make sure you use the right mounting holes.

I built the camera today to finally get to the bottom of this issue. Surprisingly everything lined up and when i compared the setup to the picture from the field nothing had changed in terms of the base plate and the offset. I was really confused and kept playing to try to recreate the issue. I added the follow focus into the mix and the problem appeared again but not as pronounced. So what must have happened was this:

1.) The lens was resting on the follow focus which was shifting the lens to the right.
2.) The base plate was loose allowing the rods swing a bit to the right and exaggerating the problem from the follow focus.

Anyway thank you to everyone for the help. PROBLEM SOLVED!
