We just wrapped up a project for Qualcomm MEM's technologies and I thought I'd share the link with the community here.

You will need at least a 1mb/s web connection for the HD version, but you can also download QuickTime and WMHD files under the share link of the site.

We shot over 4,000 shots in the US and Asia- everything to shooting in the streets of Taiwan, to shooting out of the 2nd tallest building in the world's semiconductor fabrication facilities / clean rooms, to beautiful shots of butterflies shot at 120FPS. our Red never so much as skipped a beat- smooth and efficient. all in 5 weeks from initial concept, to final delivery via web, blue-ray and still pulls used for marketing collateral and large duratrans signage.

I also want to extend thanks to Adobe: we were involved in the beta test of Premiere CS4 V 4.1 and the new RED plug-in. This project would have NEVER come together without their software and support- we cut and mastered the entire project in 2 weeks, going to 2K timeline from all sources and Premiere CS4 let us cut interviews and all the pieces in real-time. This is a game changer for us.

hope you enjoy.

all shot on a cooke 18-100 , except cell users and timelapse shots in the energy gap segment - those were shot with mkIII primes.

nice video.. i really like it.

how did you light the speakers? did you use like a 1k arrilight and a chimera softbox?

For lighting, since we had to stay light and portable, we used a very basic setup:
Coollights USA 200W HMI for key (with Chimera Softbox:small) with a white reflector for fill/bounce then two small 150W Arri fresnels gelled (blue) to 5600K for hairlight and background. This a very small kit that is flexible and easily transported.

Chasing butterflies was another story: we supplimented available light with a small battery powered (beltpack) Frezzi 35W HMI that our grip hand held as we ran around chasing butterflies with the big cooke lense.
