I got this lens almost brand new locally (just the box opened) a few months ago thinking it as a first step to building a Zeiss Milvus prime set for filming. I have decided though that it was getting a bit out of my price range at this moment.
I have only used this lens for some tests indoors handling with extreme care. It was kept inside an electronic drybox at perfect conditions. No wear or defect of any kind, almost zero dust, its condition is Mint. Comes with all its original boxing and accessories. Priced for an honest and quick sale.
This is the ZF.2 version of the lens with Iris ring on the lens for smooth and comfortable film making and it was originally in Nikon mount. This would be perfect for somebody that will be using this lens for filming and thinking to perhaps have a more expanded Milvus set in the future. It's the standard way to cinemod Mivlus lenses for filming - getting the ZF.2 and converting to EF so you end up with an iris ring that the original EF version doesn't have. The optical and mechanical quality of this lens needs no introduction. It's the best still lens that the best optics company in the world can do right now. The mechanics are incredible with the focus ring being the most smooth and natural I have ever felt in a stills lens not dissimilar to the level of top cine lenses.
The lens includes the mods below:
- Leitax EF mount that can be installed on top of the Nikon mount.
- The iris ring can be declicked. The original key to click and declick as you like is included. It also works over the EF mount.
- A high quality focus gear (from followfocusgears). When installed it will be very tight for use with even high torque professional follow focus equipment.
- A top quality 67mm B+W clear MRC nano filter is included.
The lens can be sent to you with or without any of those modifications. Just make a request and will send you the lens as you like it; no extra fees. Any remaining items will be included in a small bag.
Item will be shipped from South Korea, perfectly and safely packaged, using the fastest shipping method available including tracking within a business day. You should expect it within a few days, usually a week being the maximum for remote areas. Buyer is responsible for any custom fees.
