Minor Audio Problem

Was shooting an indi feature over weekend. Was using camera audio, single system direct because soundman’s audio recorder died. Used both the 320 gig hard drive and CF cards. Because of remoteness of location played back takes on camera itself. When we played back takes from the 320 gig hard drive, occasionally we would get a flag come up in the monitor saying audio can’t be processed and the screen would go green. When we finally did have access to a computer all the takes shot on the hard drive, both audio and picture were fine. We could play back all the takes on the CF cards on the camera, no problem. Anyone have a similar problem? If so, know a fix.?

yep I have experienced this.

Not an uncommon problem.

Solution: before playing back a clip do ff for a little and then press play. This seems to ensure normal playback
