Minimum processing power to edit raw 4K video (RED Epic)?

I am looking to build a new video editing PC for 4k video editing (RED Epic) and I'm wondering what the minimum specs would be to efficiently edit.

I'm looking at the i7-3930k with 24GB DDR3, GTX-580, SSD's and a Formula IV. I'm hoping to keep my budget under $4000. Also, would SLI 580's make much of a difference as I will also be using 3DS Max scenes.

Any help would be much appreciated.
