Miller DS-20 fluid head reviews

Hi All,

Recently I picked up a v-raptor and knew right away I need a new fluid head as my manfrotto does not cut it for such an expensive camera. I've been looking at the miller ds 20 fluid head, it seems like an older model but still good.

Anyone have any pros and cons about this fluid head?

Have been using the predecessor to the 'DS-20' model, the 'Miller 20 Series II', since the late 90's without any problems.

I'd expect the 'DS-20' to work just as well and last as long.

James summed up the pro's and cons of it pretty well in his post, now deleted.

I can understand you ignoring my own initial rambling response, but thought James' concise and accurate summary was at least worth acknowledging.

I guess shit happens eh?
