I have a Miller 55 with Carbon sticks and bag that I am going to sell. It was purchased for my Red One package that I sold and is over kill for for my EX series camera's.

Paid $4,400 for 55 fluid head, Carbon sticks and nice bag in Feb.

New condition only use when I had the Red for a few weeks of testing.

$3,800

Sticks Detail please

A few photos off my old phone. Sorry about the quality my still camera just got soaked and bit the dust. Let me know if this won't do and I will shoot some video and pull a few stills.

Thanks Paul

Paul,

Someone who does mobile work is going to really thank themselves for buying your tripod. If I'd have seen your ad earlier I would have probably bought it as another tripod system for my kits. I've used that exact head/sticks combo for the past 21 months of intensive mobile worldwide production with my RED cameras - with great performance from it. That head/sticks combo only weighs 13.8 pounds, but it truly supports loads up to (and over) 55 pounds easily and smoothly. At times I've even had a fully accessorized Optimo 12x/RED One setup on that combo (total weight 58 pounds), and it handled it easily, with excellent head performance.

Those CF sticks are the Miller SOLO 1505. They're strong, lightweight, and easy to use in multiple, rapid-fire location changes. I regularly hike long distances with RED/lenses/accessories in a backpack, and the Miller 55/Solo CF sticks combo slung over my shoulder. The combo is particularly good for mobile hybrid EFP production - sports. wildlife, events, documentaries, etc.

Attached are some recent pics of one of my RED cameras (RED #8) in a hybrid EFP setup on location in the high mountains of Utah and on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona. The total head load in the pics is around 28 pounds - a cakewalk for the head/sticks combo. The lens is a Nikon 50-300 f4.5 AIS zoom (6 pounds), and there are a lot of ET accessories on the camera. BTW, the camera is covered by a beta Camera Cozy cover, which I tested out recently on that Utah and Arizona production trip. The Cozy tested out well for protecting the camera when out in the raw elements.

I agree Steve I purchased the setup on your recommendation and it is first class with the Red. But overkill for my EX1 camera so the funds will be put to better use for my company.

I am the happy buyer !!!
