  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Miller Arrow 50 eBay

The Miller 50 is kinda old, but the one on ebay looks pretty good for the price ($799). You got 5 minutes, might not be a bad deal. This was the predecessor to the Arrow 50, which came before the current Arrow 55.

I'm guessing this head is from the early / mid '80s. It still has cork for pads rather than rubber.

I was looking to buy O'Connor 50 refurbished&painted from Visualproducts.
Thought this could work out in the similar range.

Thanks for the reply, but it's gone now.I'll keep a watch on it and use it as a reference.

Thanks again Jeff.

FYI- I just got an oconnor 50D for my Red and I dig it! Its amazing how smooth and solid it is even though its around 20 years old.

That's a great news for me.
I was little skeptical about 50D, cause it is considered as very very old.
Considering your feedback and it's completeley refurbished&repained by a good house, I might buy it.

Thanks,
Siva

I would recommend the standard pan-bar adapter from visual products. Thats the only issue I have with the head, it takes a minute to get the pan bar where you want it (and the ball size on the head is somewhat irregular like 110mm or something...) Other than that- it rocks.

I understand the issue about irregular ball size, that's why getting legs too from them.
But I don't know, how do we manage when we need to place it on like Jib/Rig etc..?
what is Pan-bar, can you throw more light about it?

Miller 50 fluid head.(For the next time you could buy one).
I have one. It´s old but very, very smooth and solid. If you find one at this price in good condition, it´s a bargain.I love it.
cheers
