Congrats Mike!!! :)

Congratulation to you!

Nice sensor cap you got there ;-)

Congrats, Mike.

Are the M's shipping with the new machined cap now? Just curious.

Don't know, Jeff. That's what I got last week. Very nice touch, eh? BTW, just got word that DSMC grip and Redmote are now on their way to me. Just waiting for Bomb and batts now. One successful shoot done with Epic last Saturday, another tomorrow. It's paying for itself already, just as planned...

Best,

Mike

Hi Mike,

I'm a local Sacramento guy as well. I own a small post company, Pretty Moving Pictures here and own a RED myself. You should come by our office sometime and we will post some of the Epic footage for you on our 147" Stewart Projection screen. Call me if interested,

Mike-Thanks for the invite. Will call when back in town next week.

No. Don't know why not. Contacts show in my picture in Jarred's post, above.

Mike

I guess a metal plate covering electrical contacts wouldn't be a great idea if you turn the camera on without lens.

Me so happy. Got my Epic X yesterday, and the shoot with my Epic-M tomorrow turned into a two camera shoot at a production meeting today. Maybe even three cam, so I can bring Red One into the game... And keep a couple of local assistants busy. Good gear brings good business. Go Big Red.

Mike

I'm also a, sort-of, Sacramentan ... grew up in Sac, now live in Winters (near Davis). Would love to catch up with you guys sometime, maybe see about working with you guys.

Hmmm... Sac Valley Red Users Cocktail Group???

Mike

Make that a 3rd! I'm here in Sac, I'm a Red One MX owner, and D.I.T! It would be great to get a group going!
