Just playing around with some grabs from Monday's shoot.
Much thanks to redusers Stan Paik and Sam Druckerman and my lovely crew that helped pull this off on a pretty meager budget.

Director: Tim Hyten
DP: Matt Garrett

Shot with elites 32mm, 75mm, and 180mm from slow motion inc (who were awesome)
and lomo 50mm

matt - Had to use the flashlight, yep. had a hazer on set. didn't really use it for the medical set.

rowland - lights used
3 maxi brutes, 2 2k zips, a couple more 2k's and 1k's, a few 650's and two 4 ft kinos.

im really curious as to how you did on set viewing as well?

viewing on set, we had one carrion monitor that can do a mostly desqueeze that I gave to my first ac.
I op'ed squeezed as did the bcam for the whole shoot. A little awkward but did the trick on low budget.

In post i followed Mike Burton's posts here on reduser.
Created a 2048 x 1152 size timeline and scaled the footage by 76 x 38

Looks fantastic!

Quick question, the still of the girl in the F.G in profile with the guy in the B.G with the x-rays? (i think) in the background -- which lens was that?

Thanks :)

Can you link to the workflow post that you mentioned by Mr. Burton, I searched and couldn't find it.

What lenses did you test? The Elites seems pretty nice. LOMO I've seen from Pixelloft. I guess there are no Panavised REDs for Panavision C-Series huh?

Thanks,

Matt

Great work Matt, Good to see these guys back in the spotlight, I shot some live material for these guys a few years ago.

I've only really checked the images on a laptop so i don't know if I can judge. Also, i'm really not a res whore and love to look of older(softer) lenses. But the elites were VERY sharp, even wide open.
You can easily see a difference between the lomo and the elites at 2k.
