Microphone problem

Hi, I have a RODE mic like this one but if I plug it in my scarlet I don't get any audio out of it: http://www.rodemic.com/mics/videomic

Batteries are full charged and mic is working on another rec.

Am I missing something?

Have you turned on the audio in the camera?

Hi Mark, yes the audio on the camera is on. I've just found that it's a known topic and this is the solution:

I'd also need a microphone to use as guide to sync the audio recorded with another external recorder, I was thinking in a very small one such as those one for the iPhone (don't care about the quality, it's just to have a reference). Would this work?

What I don't understand is how to recognise a microphone that works with the RED
