Had the pleasure of filming the beginning and end of this video on the Epic in HDRx mode. Worked like a charm to retain those billboards' highlights in Times Square. Thanks to everyone at Disney in New York, Florida, and Los Angeles. And of course, thanks to the one and only Mickey Mouse!

Thanks for the compliments!

We used Master Primes. But we were always on a 25' jib arm doing some kind of movement. There is a slight digital zoom at the end, where we reveal Mickey in the Magic Kingdom, just to get the perfect framing on his hands. But that's essentially a digital extension of the jib move.

Perhaps you saw a zoom during the "augmented reality" segment in the middle, where guests are interacting with the Disney Store billboard. That sequence was shot by a different crew on EPK style cameras (I think Sony EX3) and they did some zooming for sure.

Looks great James.

This might sound like a stupid question, but how did you guys get permission to clear out times square for some of those beginning shots? Or was it all done digitally in post?

Great job! Was the end done in realtime with the lights and fireworks or is that all green screen?

Looks really nice James.
