  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Michael Kromschroeder - Germany

First - congrats Michael. It was great working with you at REDucation UK in September and I will definitely be heading to Munich when I get my EPIC-X to do some shooting with you.

Michael is a great guy with so much knowledge and is really forthcoming with his thoughts and advise.

Second - count me in for Oktoberfest next year too - so that's 6.

this will end up as a new REDuser meeting point :)

Michael, do you have some pics to share already? :)

You guys...your 'Munich October 2011' montage is awesome. I liked that image at 2:59 where the fast ferriswheel goes into ultraslomo on the music. It's a nice demo what one could produce on such an amazing highres platform :D. Is that an oconnor 1030 that you use? It seems to be perfect for the Epic. I was wondering if it would hold up to a full R1mx serup also. Beautifull, thanks for taking the time to make that!!

Michael,

I went to your website, I love the layout. Very cool site.

Would you agree pans and dolly shots look extremely smooth when filmed at 96fps. It's almost it's own style when that many frames are being captured. I can see you used this style to much success on your video with Ketch.

Keep up the good work.

Cheers,

I'm in Munich right now (my first time in Germany ever) for business (I work for BMW in Canada)... watching this video was great. It let me re-live the last few days a bit.

I walked through the BMW Welt just a few hours ago!

Great work Michael and Ketch... as a RED fan, it would have been cool to see you guys do all this in person if I was here a few weeks earlier.

Cheers,
Kian
