Michael Jackson and RED

:scared:

So sad.

apparently Michael Jackson LOVED cameras and filming. He was a huge fan of film making thus the cinematic music videos.

He must be very happy with his spiritual zoom now.

Video of him digging on some Sony gear, and equating it being like the panasonic...http://gizmodo.com/5303026/michael-jackson-gets-his-geek-on

Some background on the above photo; it was taken just recently at Staples Center in Los Angeles and shows MJ and his choreographer/director Kenny Ortega while rehearsing for the "This Is It" tour. Here's a link to it's posting by the LA Times: http://www.latimes.com/entertainmen...n-aeg-pictures,0,3996921.photogallery?index=4
It's so sad. Regardless of what you may think of him personally, he was definitely one of us camera geeks.

This was front page of the biggest newspaper here 2 days ago. About 100k worth of ad-space right there. Similar to how Oakley got such great press value because of the logo positioning on the headgear.. Genius!

Michael was definitely interested in cameras. He was asking many questions about the RED and wanted to try it for himself (as seen in the famous photo). I never thought that my camera would be responsible for the some of the final candid moments of his incredible life.

Rest in Peace Michael.
