Also, I was really between this and the CinemaOxide solution...btu the way the backplate sticks out on the CO solution (it's built for the Epic's ribbed design) was a turn off. This one is flush...

Received mine today.

Build quality is excellent.

I mounted mine on permanently rather than being able to snap it on and off. Just have to remove the IDX plate and then screw the M4's tighter around it.

Unfortunately I can't use it until I get an Easy Plate or something similar as my Wooden Camera top handle is in the way of the battery. So close.

Finally, some pictures. Long week, crappy lens on the Scarlet but it works fine. Simple setup. All my other gear is rented out.

More pictures. For you extreme shooters out there, I was playing around with it flipping it. I was worried more about my battery falling off then the Scarlet V-mount Pro. If you decide to use it in this way, I would recommend you tighten the M4 screws from the inside. Easy to do. Can't say much for the battery.

Cool thing is, this V-mount battery plate comes off the D-plate meaning you can adjust those M4 screws to tighten and those spring plungers to give you a solid fit. Unbelievably secure.
