Hi everyone,
I posted last month in the Off Topic section but am hoping for better luck here! Does anyone have the contact information for the people at MG 1 CONCEPTS? Like an actual phone number or email?

They have implemented a new Registration process to get access to their site and I have tried twice to register - I get a "We'll send you your registration code soon" and nothing ever comes of it. Tried contacting a couple of other users and Micheal Lee but have not gotten any response.

Any info would be great!

Bad move on their part. I could not access their website so I had to buy from someone else.

I've never seen a website trying to sell a product that requires you to login in order to even view their products.

I don't get it.

It must be some kind of weird reverse psychology.
Let's make it impossible to order our products to make them rare and hence more desirable.

Hi All
I also created a thread for this! I actually sent a PM as well to the mg1 sponser reduser but no response. Finally I bought DynaCore it works .
I do not understand why they have restricted their website?

I'm sorry to address these questions so late in regards to our New Registration process, we implemented these new policies to protect RED-users and ourselves. We live in a different world now, spammers & hackers are penetrating into websites more than ever. We are a small community among us and we all are professionals here hence why we ask for domain names only. Gmail, hotmail and many other free e-mail accounts are hacked and are used by spammers spreading viruses & malware to infect, steal or take over critical network systems including your identity. Identity theft is more prevalent than ever. So in the past year, we have addressed these issues and are combating them as we speak.

We are asking you to verify your identity part of our verification process to ensure your safety among our customers and within this forum. Stolen cameras, cine lenses and various accessories have been rampant within our industry and we are fighting to ensure your hard-earned RED equipment is protected and used only by you and if stolen can be returned. Confirmation codes will be issued when proper form submission(s) are met and are reviewed by our MG1 staff. If you feel this may violate your rights, we completely understand and respect your decision and we suggest you to not come to our website. This measure is to prevent fraud and circumvent malicious on-line theft for all users regardless from this forum or within our industry. We take security very very seriously and in response, we are working with security experts to ensure your protection is safe and not compromised in any way.

We are open to any suggestions that you may have that can help us all and to validate safe transactions for our esteem RED members and new & old customers alike. We are here to help...not deter.

We hope you understand our policies and we hope to serve you better in a safe and secure environment. We apologized for this inconvenience that may have caused you. We are sorry.

I agree about he quick plate Frank, I attached a flat wide screw on the bottom of the plate to keep it from bumping off constantly, has worked great since.

I bought the Epic battery kit from the last year. While the product works well. I am not a big fan of the quick release plate (it's constantly by accident bumping of the camera). On the customer service front I would give them two stars out of five.

We got one and its been great so far. Are you using the side screw? How does it bump off. The unit slides down onto those M4 screws and using the thumbscrew it holds it tight. Constantly?
