I'm new to RED, doing my first feature length, and using final draft.

I saw some metadata options on the camera, was wondering what metadata workflow people use with final draft and Red? Specifically, shot lists, timing, script changes (as they relate to shot metadata) etc ...
In the past, with shorts (I've done over 20), shot lists and metadata were random, my disk drives just got crazy. That old approach just isn't going to work. So this time i'd really like some linkage between final draft and the shots (and sound ... if possible). My final draft script is geared more for production, I like to use it as my "requirement" document ... so flowing things back to it is helpful.
I also have a lot of SFX and VFX workflow(about 50% of the movie is mapped to a 3d solid model, for coloring and compositing) so that add's a lot of work flow complexity. I was probably going to go with openEXR for file interchange.

Any metadata workflow hints are greatly appreciated.
