Hi,

Is it possible to merge R3D renders or have the clip folders sorted by event number. I am trying to render a bunch of R3D files out as tiff sequences, but ideally I want to keep the clips in sequence order. I can send the clips to the timeline in RC-X in order via CF, but I can't seem to get it out as either a single tiff sequence or numbered folders. Also, it doesn't do anything when I select "timeline (all clips)".

Hi Gerard,

A single tiff sequence from a timeline via "Timeline (all clips)" is absolutely possible. Are you saying nothing happens when you select "Timeline (all clips)" and click the Export button?

Yup. Nothing goes to queue. Only when I select clips and export selected or separate clips, which both seem to do the same thing.

In fact, I can't seem to get the "ask for output filename" setting working properly either. It seems to default to exporting by clip names to an earlier specified output location. No prompts or fields to input file name.

Ah. Got it solved. Turning on Redline breaks that option.

Hey Gerard,

Yep glad you got it working. Yeah, using REDline doesn't make sense for Timeline (all clips), as REDline can only operate on one clip at a time.

David

Except in my case I was doing image sequences. Without redline, the CPU usage per core is heavily under optimized.
